31 “You saw, O king, and behold, a great image. This image, mighty and of exceeding brightness, stood before you, and its appearance was frightening.

The image in his dream is so large that it really scares him. The image radiates tremendous glory and majesty and there is a special brilliance about the image. In one word, it is overwhelming.
