The Lord’s right hand is the place of refuge in this psalm. The term points to the Lord’s strength by which he sustains hiss own and redeems them from trouble (Exodus 15:6, Exodus 15:12; Psalm 60:5; Psalm 108:6; Psalm 138:7).1 It is also the place of everlasting pleasure (Psalm 16:11).
