6 On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone,

When humans begin a building project, they start by taking measurements (Job 38:5) and laying a foundation. But all our building activities are nothing, compared to God’s great act of creation. We were not there when he stretched a measuring line across the earth and laid its cornerstone.
