The miracle performed by Paul has authenticated the message which he has proclaimed regarding Jesus Christ.1 Together, the miracle and the teaching have persuaded Sergius Paulus that he must submit to Jesus.2 He will become the first fully Gentile convert documented in Acts, also the first convert to occupy such a prestigious place in society.3
