Jesus Christ came to obey God’s law in my place so that I might share in his reward, life with God in glory. He also came to die the death which I deserve for my wrongdoing and sin so that I will not be destroyed by the wrath of God. All those who are united to Christ through faith share in the benefits that he has won for them, irrespective of their ethnic background.
19 Now those who were scattered because of the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except Jews.
