Leviticus 26:21 outlines the third series of curses that will fall on the disobedient nation. The following verse is a reversal of Leviticus 26:6. There, the LORD promised to remove wild beats from the land, making the people dwell in peace. Disobedience, however, will result in wild beasts ravaging the land.
21 “Then if you walk contrary to me and will not listen to me, I will continue striking you, sevenfold for your sins.
